Sinusitis

Question

Q.

Could I have nasal polyps

I have had severe sinusitis since Sept 2019 (but had it most years before this for periods of time) Nothing has worked this time including anti biotics/nasal sprays/steams/acupuncture..... I am now so congested I am finding it extremely hard to breath. I was diagnosed with adult asthma last Nov 2018 and do not tend to need the inhaler very often but have needed it most nights since Sept as I am just continuously bunged up and can hear a constant noise at the back of my throat. I can feel something restricting my airways and have not been able to breath in or out through my nose for months. There is no bad taste or smell which I did have in Sept. My face is just so heavy because I can feel it all in there but nothing will come out. If this face scan comes back with nothing what am I supposed to do to get rid of this? Its just un bearable at the minute.

Sounds like chronic sinusitis and or polyps. The scan will Point the way forward, which may mean surgery, as medication hasn’t helped.
