Sinusitis

Q.

Bleeding in nose

My nose has been bleeding since about 24 hours ago. It isn't a pouring, running nosebleed, but when I blow my nose, the mucus is pink, and if I put a tissue in my nostril, it comes back out soaked in blood. I haven't been having any sinus pain, if any, it's been very very mild, I'm just wondering if this type of bleeding could be an indicator of sinusitis, because I'm a bit worried and need some peace of mind until I can get to the doctor. Thanks so much.

No not likely to be sinusitis. An ENT can cauterise it for you if it’s troublesome or sometimes we prescribe nasal Bactroban for bacterial rhinitis.
