Sinusitis

Q.

Are my adenoids to blame?

I've been suffering with Nasal issues for the past 6 years, I live on nasal sprays to relieve constant congestion. I've been treated for sinusitis about 8-10 times per year, including middle ear infections. I have been told that I snore when sleeping - something I never had before. My ears constantly feel "blocked" and I have frequent sinus pain/ headaches. Could my adenoids be the underlying cause of my ill health and should they rather be removed to give me quality of life again?

Adenoids aren’t usually the problem in adults. A scope of the nose and a CT scan should identify the cause of the problem, seems likely to be either chronic sinusitis or allergies.
