Q.

Generalised pain all over body, painful to touch

I have had two episodes of this particular pain over the course of approximately a year. It is a generalised pain over all the areas where there is bone near the skin (jawline, neck and shoulders, back, ribs and chest, hips, back of my arms and front of my thighs, and also the heels of my feet). I can describe the pain as a burning stabbing kind of sensation, very sensitive to touch. Even dressing is painful. Normal painkillers (mybulen, paracetamol) and slightly stronger anti-inflammatory drugs (celebrex, k-fenak) don't help at all, and my GP couldn't think of any reason for the pain. The pain starts in my ribs and then within a day is all over. It goes away within 3 days to a week, leaving me with just a bit of stiffness. Additional info: 24 years old, hypothyroidism (mild, eltroxin 0.05mg daily)
