Q.

Clavicle pain

Last week I was doing yard work, pulling weeds and moving bags of mulch. The next day i started experiencing sharp pains in my clavicle area anytime I tried to grab something. I rested it and used heat & ice, but it seems like that made it worse. Now whenever I move my arm I get sharp pains, they aren’t consistent unless I’m picking something up. What’s wrong with my collarbone?

Hi there.

You probably damaged one of the muscle tendons attached to the collarbone, but if it gets worse whilst you are resting it, rather see your GP. These injuries can sometimes take a week or two to heal.
