Q.

Wrong nerve hit

I have had a terrible experience at the dentist. They were doing a root canal on back lower jaw molar and did adrenaline nerve block injection. my body went into shock with heart beating like crazy and shaking followed by shooting pains and nerve related shingles on same side. Both doctors I went to say it was because she injected into my facial nerve by mistake? Could this be? I am not allergic and have had these procedures done by other dentists in the past

It's difficult to say what caused this without a full medical history. Symptoms such as these are experienced by people with uncontrolled/excessive hypertension.
