Botox for urinary incontinence

Dr. Elizabeth Mueller, medical director of Urogynecology at Loyola in the US, explains how Botox is a very effective treatment for muscle spasms. From this realisation, a clinical trial was developed to study the effect of Botox injections in urinary incontinence treatment. Dr. Mueller's patient Kim Jansto explains how she developed urinary incontinence as a result of multiple sclerosis. She was enrolled in the study and felt better 2 days after treatment.
