Q.

Incontinence after Green Light surgery on Prostate

Dear Doctor, I did my prostate surgery (GL) on 25 Jul 2019. Since then I am having heavy incontinence, both day and night. Most of teh time it leaks without me knowing and almost 5 months has past. Now I am feeling the urge to urine both day and night but still has leaks. Night time about 25ml provided no drinks befor going to bed.But during the day its quite heavy sometimes leaks every 5 or 10 minutes. Done urodynamics and was told to do kegal excercise. Wll this incontinence go away after 12 months or so?

It may improve over time.

I would persist with pelvic floor physiotherapy, but to return to your Urologist for follow up.
There are other solutions, if the physiotherapy doesn't work.
Kind regards
Prenevin
