Hypertension

Could you explain the reasons why low physical activity impacts ones blood pressure and creates hypertension? In a male, 40y/o, bp 160/110, is anxious, low physical activity level, and a social drinker

One word : Lifestyle. Please google lifestyle management in hypertension. Lots of info on that. But, please beware that only changing lifestyle will probably not lower your BP to a safe level and you will probably need antihypertensive medication.
