Q.

Beta blockers

On th 14th of May i went for a low back operation. Something went wrong and my lung partially collapsed. I was send home with exercises. Its almost 3 weeks later. I feel a little bit better but still shortness of breath. Because of this my heart rate is high alot of the time. I went to my GP and she prescribed indoblock beta blocker for the fast heart rate. But now i wake up in the morning hours out of breath and my blood pressure extremely low but heart rate normal. Is this because of the indoblock and should i keep taking it cause i really dont feel well when i wake like that. Please help ive been through so much the last few weeks.

Your GP will monitor your progress, you have to go back to her. It is impossible to give an opinion without examining you. Maybe your CXR should be repeated.
