Heart attack triggers heart attack

A man in France dropped dead from a heart attack as he was calling emergency services to tell them that a neighbour had just suffered the same fate, police said.

Emergency services found the two men in the southwestern city of Toulouse, a man in his 80s dead on the doorstep of the apartment of the other victim, a man in his 60s found dead near the telephone.

Local newspaper the Depeche du Midi said that the younger man telephoned emergency services and told them that he was going to start heart massage on his neighbour when the line cut abruptly.
