Twitch in ear

Hope that you might be able to help me. I don' t know how to explain this, but I' ve got a kind of " nervous twitch"  just above my ear lobe...it' s not painful, but irritating! (It only happens in my left ear)

It sometimes happens during the day (about half a dozen times), but especially while I' m sleeping. And when I' m sleeping ons this ear (left) it goes buzzerk!

I' m tried to find an answer on the internet, but can' t find anything. I' m just affraid it might be something worst like cancer in the ear or something like that... hope that you will be able to send me in the right direction.

Dear JustMe

I am not sure if i am understanding you correctly about the problem. There are no muscles in the earlobe and therefor i am not sure what you are experiencing. Are you maybe hearing something in the ear, then it can be tinnitus. Your symptoms are unusual and it might be best to see a doctor about it. Start with a visit to your GP and he/she will be able to refer you for further evaluation if necessary.

Please let me know if you have any further questions

Kind regards
