Q.

prem baby - 50% hearing problem

in hospital, prem babies get tested for hearing, they put a devise in ear and see how brain waves react. they said baby only reacted on 50% which is halfway to deafness. baby is now 2 and a half months old were born 2 and a half months to erly, could it be fluids in the brain or is the test very acurate? My baby do listen to me sometimes baby dont react to my voice any suggestions?

There is a possibility that there might have been some fluid in your baby's ear during the initial test. This would give a negative result on the test. I would strongly recommend that you have your baby's hearing evaluated again. Go and see you Audiologist for an evaluation.
