The first thing that you need to do is to see your GP so that he/she can have a look in the ear, to see that all is in order. He/she will then be able to refer you for further evaluation if necessary. After you have been to see the doctor you will need to see an Audiologist for a full hearing evaluation. It is important to first sort out all medical problems before you go for the hearing evaluation.
