Hearing problem and statering

My sister''s son (11yrs), has a problem which is affective his school work drastically. He has a hearing problem, we have to always speake load to him or repeat our self when we talk to him. sometime he just stare and keep quite without responding, when he finally does respond or tries to answer he staters a lot and start crying because he cant get the words out. His teacher also experience the same proble when She involve him in class activities that requare him to speak or respond. Secondly he has this condition of bleeding during his sleep at night, and it happens a lot in winter than in summer. Please help,

Based on the concerns highlighted it would be a good idea for you to consider a multidisciplinary approach with regard to assistance for your son. Thus making an appointment with an Ear Nose and Throat {ENT} specialist or Physician would be a good starting point. Thereafter, a visit to an Audiologist and Speech therapist would be warranted. Only upon appropriate consultations with the above health professionals would appropriate assessment and management thereof proceed.
