Dear Jonathan

There is a lot that i can tell you about blocked ears. In your case it sounds like the possible causes of the problem is either pressure or water. Your ears might not be equalizing or there is water that stays behind in your ears, it could also be a symptom of another problem.

In order for me to give you more specific information I would need to know more detail like:
* is this a recent problems or has it always been like that?
* does it happen during swimming, skin diving, snorkeling or scuba diving?
* do you experience the problem when you are out of the water, after swimming?
* do you have a history of ear problems?

You can post a new question with the extra information or e-mail me at izabelle@widex.co.za, if you need any further information.

Hope to hear from you soon
