Hallo Charlotte.  This fluid is coming possibly from the middle ear via the eardrum and a bad smell can indicate infection.  You must see an ear specialist as soon as possible.  Constant drainage of ears is not normal and could indicate a medical problem because a healthy middle ear cavity is filled with air and not fluid.  Changes are there might be an associated loss of hearing and this can affect her learning abilities.  The ear specialist will tell you whether surgery if needed.
