Earwax balls in ears of my 4 year old

Hi My daughter is 4 years old, and she has a build of ear was balls in her ears. I took her to my GP, she advised that i do not push anything into her ears to remove them however i should put oil to soften the wax and take her back after three days of putting oil. I have been using Olive Oil however there the what is not softening and coming out like google describes it will. There is no evidence of the wax softening however it is going deeper into the ear without anybody inserting anything in her ear. Please advise what can i do to get the was soften and come out.

Hi Melody

I would not put anything else in a 4 year old childs' ears other than what a docter prescribes.  A Ear, Nose and Throat specialist can easily clean out her ears with a special tool, and I would advise you to go and see one if your GP cant take out the wax.  You have to be sure that there are no perforations(holes) of the eardrums before putting any drops into a childs ears, and a specialist or GP will confirm that for you once the wax is out.
