Dear Kathie,

I am unaware of any link between West Nile Virus and hearing loss. However, the treatment may be a risk factor for hearing loss, for example if you were treated with Quinine. Your hearing loss may also be related to other factors such as age. It is best to see an Audiologist for a hearing test to determine the nature of your hearing loss (i.e. whether it is manageable by medical or surgical means), and the severity of the hearing loss, to determine if you are a candidate for hearing aids.

Kind regards
Minette
