Q.

Headaches in the morning when I wake

For the past month I wake up with a nagging pain behind the ear. Left side only. If I turn over and sleep on my right side it seems to miraculously disappear. Could this be the beginnings of a tumour?

Dear Alan,

It is highly unlikely that this is the beginning of a tumour - however the only way to establish the reason for the pain is to have an examination by experts in headache pain.
