Q.

What happen when you miss daily treatment on ARVs

I hook up with friends .go to bed late and don't take treatment for number of days.I realise I miss some and carry on again..

You cannot afford to do that. Remember that antiretroviral treatment is taken to suppress the viral load. The viral load is the number of HIV copies in the blood. We want the viral load to be suppressed or undetectable so that you are healthy. If you skip days of treatment then the viral load will not be suppressed and your immune system will weaken. Please go back to your doctor or nurse clinician and ask for more counselling. I am concerned that maybe you have not accepted your HIV status and the importance of taking medication every single day
