Q.

Contaminated blood

Can contaminated blood on the tip of a Pipette enter my blood stream during collection of my blood in the vicinity of my pricked finger? Had to do a medical at work, the lady pricked my finger with a lancet and collected the blood on my finger using a Pipette. She then proceeded to drop my blood onto a blood sugar testing machine. The machine had a small amount of foreign blood on it from the previous person. She scraped the Pipette on the foreign blood on the machine and the collected more blood from my pricked finger. Is it possible that this blood has mixed with my blood and entered my blood stream through my pricked finger ? Should I be concerned ?
