Q.

I was prescribed duolin and pulmicort can I use both in a nebulisor

I have a bad bacterial infection in my right lung I was prescribed Erythromycin for 3days, prednisone 8 tabs daily for 5 daysTopraz 10 mg For 14 days andDulera 200/5mcg twice a day at ER on Sunday 19 January am not feeling any better wheezing non stop and coughing I am a fit 72 year old

Hi there
I would rather suggest that you use it separately. So, depending on how it was prescribed, rather spread the dosages out than take it all together. Also, remember that you have already been prescribed the oral version, namely prednisone (which is almost the same as pulmicort) and the inhaler Dulera (which is almost the same as Duolin). The Dulera and Duolin can increase your heart rate, especially if you take them at the same time. If you are still not feeling better, then I suggest that you rather go back to the doctor, because there might be a more serious underlying issue. Good luck and I hope that you feel better soon.
