Q.

Still contagious after antibiotics?

I have been on an antibiotic for upper resp infection....my grand babies have been on antibiotic for the flu. They have been on the med for 4 day but still have fever. Are they contagious?

Hi

The flu is a viral infection, so while they are still feverish it means that virus has not yet cleared their bodies and they are still contagious. The antibiotics will help if they contracted a secondary bacterial infection. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
