Q.

Medication for persistent cold and chest pain

I suffer from severe cold since childhood and I'm currently 52-years-old. I have severe cold in my chest and throat. Because I'm frequently getting the cold, which medication is best prescribed for me? MY MAIL ID SIVARAMAN.SUBRAMANIAN1966@GMAIL.COM

Hi

The best would be to use medication that can boost your immune system, on a daily basis. Medication should include Vitamin C, Zinc and other vitamins and minerals that can boost your immune system. If you have been prone to illness since childhood, there might be something else wrong, such as a suppressed immune system, and you probably need to have some blood tests done at the GP. Good luck.
