Q.

Coughing for 3 months and back pain.

I have been coughing, runny nose, (headache sometimes) for 3 months, have a back pain in my waist ,doc suspected Kidney Infection,he tested my urine and sent me to the X-Ray for Blood Test 3 times but nothing has been pickup. What causes this Doc?

Hi Jay

I think I might be more sensitive to diagnosing TB disease because I work in TB Research, but I do think that you need to be tested for TB disease - both pulmonary and extra-pulmonary (one can get TB in any of the organs of the body), especially because you have been coughing for 3 months.
