Q.

Can the color of my injured eye be restored to make it look normal again?

When i was young, a friend throw a stone that hit my left eye leaving blind, and the colorful part of the eye turned white ever since. I know that the eye will never see again, but what i would like to know is if there's a surgical procedure to restore the eye color to make it normal again. If so, could you please refer me to an institution that performs these procedures.

Hi there

A surgeon could possibly tattoo your eye or alternatively you could have a cosmetic contact lens made. Its best to look for an ophthalmologist in your area. Please look at https://www.ossa.co.za

Best wishes!
