Although blind or visually challenged people find unique ways to cope in a world geared towards people who can see, it's heartwarming to watch somebody see for the first time. 

Blindness can be the result of serious untreated eye problems, but according to the South African National Council for the Blind, 80% of blindness is avoidable, which is why early diagnosis and treatment are so essential in the case of eye diseases.
