A study suggests that people with inflammatory bowel disease may be at increased risk for heart attack and stroke.

People with inflammatory bowel disease may be at increased risk for heart attack and stroke, a new study suggests.

The study was scheduled for presentation at the annual meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology, in San Diego. Research presented at medical meetings should be viewed as preliminary until published in a peer-reviewed journal.
