If you have a functional bowel problem (that means all the tests done are normal, despite persistence of your problem) it is worth looking at what you eat. Nomally it is the healthy foods that bloat! The include fatty foods (olive oil does it in a lesser degree), dried legumes (beans, peas, lentils, soya), cabbage family, onions (even a little bit can do that), citrus, avo's, instant soups and sauces, visible fiber as in wheat bix, all bran and oats, nuts (seeds to a lesser degree)and peanut butter, coconut and yeasty things such as yogurt, bread, beer, etc. It might help to drink a maxalon at bedtime, and to deflate yourself with tea with fresh grated ginger (you should eat the ginger too). Iberogast might also do the trick. Good luck
