Q.

Very high blood sugar even with medication

My mother has diabetes, she had been given medication to take daily, she has changed her diet and exercises regularly. with all this she still has a blood sugar between 20 and 25. She is a military patient and the doctors never check her blood sugar and just give her a new script for 6 months of medication. I need advice on what to do.

Hi

Her current blood sugar readings are too high, and therefore she needs ,ore medication added, especially as she has adjusted her diet and exercise. If the current doctors aren't helping, then I can only suggest seeing another doctor. Unfortunately I can't change the system that she is currently under
