Q.

losing hair at 75

diabetic with hypertension suffering hair loss aged 75. Is this normal and what can I do about it?

Hi

Hair loss may rarely occur if blood glucose levels are high for long, and particularly if there is nerve and blood vessel damage.......not much you can do about this. Generally though there are potentially non diabetes related cause like low iron, thyroid or medication related issues, and therefore you will need to try and work through the potential causes to try and identify the issue
