Regarding the blood pressure, it can be variable, in other words if you take it 5 days in a row, you won’t get the exact same reading. I am not sure what the level was when you say that it was high, but with diabetes, it should be less than 140/80. Suggest having a few more readings taken to see what the average level is. Concerning the burning pain, it is difficult to make a diagnosis, but the burning nature suggest nerve pain as a cause, although the intermittent nature as you describe it is not a typical presentation. It may be due to pressure on the nerves by your shoes. Suggest assessment by doctor.
