It isn’t clear to me what the problem with the vision is, i.e can she not see as far as before(short-sighted), or whether she can’t see near things(near-sighted), or whether parts of her vision are missing. Certainly if her glucose levels were high for a while before the coma, then when they are lowered a patient’s vision can change in that they may need there glasses changed or can develop cataracts. I would suggest an opinion from an ophthalmologist to get a good assessment.
