Q.

Which medicine should I take on diabetes?

I am taking 1000 mg Metformin Hydrochloride SR in the morning and 500 mg in night before meal. Now fasting sugar is 120-140 and Hb1ac- 7.3 Now what I should do.

Hi

The dosage for metformin can be increased, but you would need to discuss this with your doctor first. The other options to lower glucose are 1) exercise 2) lower carbohydrate intake 3) increase water intake 4) lose weight
