Type 1 diabetes gastro help

My husband is 31 and a Type 1 diabetic of 20+ years and he is experiencing fecal incontinence several times a night while hes asleep. He has to wake up and change sheets and bedding and clothes constantly and hasn't had a solid bowel movement in several years. He takes novalin N and R to manage his diabetes and his PCP gave us a list of specialist referrals but he is uninsured and we cannot afford to be seen yet. We are trying to get him to see these specialty doctors so he can possibly get disability with their say so. I've read a lot online about pancreatic enzymes and since his pancreas isnt able to produce insulin maybe it's not able to produce his enzymes either? He has some frothy and pale liquid stool that smells very foul and sickly. He vomits several times a day and gas very very smelly belches like acid sulphur. Is there anything we can do to help his stomach? I'm not sure if he has gastroparesis or unhealthy gut biome or no enzymes but hes not able to gain weight and has constant diarrhea. Can you make any suggestions on what we can do to make his life easier at all due to the constant diarrhea? Thank you for any answer.

It sounds like he may have a gastroparesis along with small bowel bacterial overgrowth and/or neuropathy. There are, however, other possibilities like coeliac disease etc that come into the equation. These are complex problems, and he would need to see a gastroenterologist to manage this. I understand that you want to manage the symptoms, but without a clear diagnosis, the correct treatment can't be given. I don't think that it relates to low pancreatic enzymes
