Q.

My husband has an three open sores between his toes

My husband has been a Type I diabetic for 32 years. Yesterday he wore flip flop shoes and last night we noticed a cut and two open sores between his 2nd and third toes. They are open and red. He has little sensation in his feet. Should I take him to an urgent care or EC?

Hi

I would suggest that he see his GP for an assessment to see if simple dressing are needed or if more is required. He may also need his circulation assessed
