It is not insulin resistance.There is a lot of confusion among the public
regarding hypoglycemia. Reactive hypoglycemia is where there is a drop in
glucose levels, but not below a specific cutoff of 2.5 on a lab glucose, and
this is managed by choosing low GI foods, as it happens post meals. True
hypoglycemia(less than 2.5 at the lab) is a medical condition that requires a
proper diagnosis and treatment plan. In your case it is not clear to me whether
you are having true hypoglycemia or not, and therefore I recommend having your
glucose checked when you have symptoms. This would mean getting a machine and
testing yourself. If your glucose levels are truly low, then you would need
further investigations to determine the cause
