Sore feet - diabetic

I'm type 2 diabetic my feet are sore all time now since toenail removal feet feel raw cracked a burn.feet are cracked and hard at heel. What am I not doing right I don't want to be amputated. I'm on heart medicine an anxiety meds a more I'm 54

Hi

I suggest seeing a podiatrist to assess and advise on good foot care(they will also assess your circulation and sensation). It sounds like you need a good moisturizer and possibly your footware assessed to make sure that there are no pressure points. It is not clear to me whether there is an added nerve pain compnent to the pain. Typically this is a burning pain worse at night, and if confirmed, then there are medications to help with this type of pain. You would need to see your doctor to be assessed for this
