Q.

Metformin

I"m using metformin 500 1 tablet before breakfast and 1 before dinner. My fasting blood sugar ranges between 93 and 98  But one hour after meal boosts to 200 to 225.I m from Pakistan. Age 43 male Accedintally diagnosed type 2 in December2019 with NBA1c 8.5 My HB1ac is reduced from 8.5 to 5.79

Hi

Your post meal readings are going too high at 1 hour, although you seem to have a very good HbA1c, so I suspect that your post meal spikes don't last very long, and the likelihood is that your readings come down again quite quickly. There is the option to increase your metformin, as it won't cause lows, but could help a bit with the post meal highs. Suggest discuss with your doctor before increasing your dose
