Glucophage together with Metformin

Good day Dr I m currently on Glucophage 1000mg x 1 in the evening and 1 x 1000mg in the morning. I also use 1 x Diaglucide 30mg in the morning with my Ziak 10mg for high blood preasure. We do not have a medical aid. My sugar levels stay over 8.....I am on this medication from February 2018 as prescribed by a Physician. Is there reason for worry?
