Fruit and diabetes

A young man age 31 and have a few people with diabetes in his family and he is non diabetic. He take care of his health, do exercise, walk, do not use sugar (very very less, only a few times in a month), he likes fruits and vegitables very much. His weight is also normal and eating fruits vegitables is not increasing his weight. Can he consume fruits and vegitables more and more or is there any limit for him?Also is avoiding eating sugar is fine or should use sometimes?

Hi

The fruit and vegetables are fine to eat. It only becomes a problem if his weight goes up and he starts becoming overweight, as increasing weight is a risk factor for diabetes. There is no need to take sugar, so if he doesn't want to, then he doesn't' need to
