Q.

Fruit and sweets

My HBA1C is 5.5% (non diabetic) , is eating fruits or sweat stuff after fasting of 16hours at evening time or in morning empty stomach (12 h fasting) is risk factor in causing diabetese by causing harm to pancrease or it is not like that?

Hi

Risk factors for diabetes are 1)being overweight 2)a family history of diabetes 3)high blood pressure 4) raised cholesterol 5) polycystic ovarian syndrome 5) previous diabetes in pregnancy. Fruit will only  increase your risk of diabetes if it causes you to become overweight
