Can you please tell me how to get down sugar levels without medication?

I got it down from 276 to 232 in a week, only by cutting out sugar, rice, potato and bread. I’m also taking 2 bitter gourd tablets daily. I have started walking 50 mins from today. Will the walking and diet bring down the sugar level and how long will it take? My diet consists of chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, sprouts, whole wheat bread, cauliflower, peas and lentils.

If you are a Type 2 Diabetic, then the non-medication ways to lower glucose are weight loss, exercise(must be done regularly), and altering the diet by cutting portions and reducing carbohydrates. For the diet, I would suggest a dietitian. this approach wouldn't be applicable to Type 1 diabetes, as you always need insulin with Type 1 diabetes
