I'm really sorry to hear about this. Both Depression and Anxiety are common disorders, and often occur together, but fortunately they usually respond well to proper treatment, often with medicines, and if possible also with some counseling.
So the issue is how best to arrange for you to see a suitable expert to get the treatment you need and deserve, This can be from a GP, or a clinic doctor or psychiatrist ( who specializes in such problems ), or at a provincial hospital, or privately.
If you live in a city with a medical school, you could also arrange to be seen by the department of psychiatry there.
You may find it useful to contact the SA Depression & Anxiety Group, www.sadag.org, 24 hour hotline 0800-456-789, or office 011-234-4837. They can provide phone or online counseling, and advice about where you can go for treatment. Good luck ; I hope you will soon be feeling much better.
