Dear Anonymous, to have continuous headaches is not normal. There must
be a reason for the headaches which you have been getting over a period of 3
weeks. Any headache that lasts that long needs to be investigated. There are
various possible causes of continuous headaches which may include: overuse of
pain medication; lack of sleep; consuming caffeine; lifestyle or environmental
factors that may cause stress. Whatever the cause, you should consult your
physician so that a thorough medical examination can be conducted to determine
the cause of your headaches.
Headaches caused by brain tumours are usually persistent (intermittent throbbing
headaches) that are often worse in the morning. It is also not always possible
to say exactly in which part of the head the headache is. The pain could
sometimes be worse on one side of the head.
You should seek immediate advice from your physician. (MCH).
