Hi my mum who is 75 and has a history of Chrons Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis, diabetic and Hypertensive with sever OA. Diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer on 01 Oct 2018 and had a left breast mastectomy, She was too sick to take any chemo as it turned her into a fragile person who couldnt even get to the bathroom by herself, Took Chemo (oral) for only 2 weeks. Its now been 7 months what is the next step how do we monitor for screen for other types of cancer, she is generally doing well and has no new complaints.

Dear Anonymous
Really sorry to hear of your Mum's health status. It is difficult to provide advice without knowing the full health history of a patient. From what you stated in your question, it would appear that your Mum was under care of an oncologist. It is important that your Mum returns to her Oncologist for follow-up evaluation and he/she will be in a better position to provide advice on the way forward. (MCH).
