Normal female range of haemoglobin (Hb) is 12.1 to 15.1 g/dL. An Hb of 8.2 may indicate anaemia
Normal erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is 0 to 22mm. An increased ESR is associated with autoimmune disorders
Normal female unsaturated iron binding capacity (UIBC) is 13.5 to 17.5
Normal female total iron binding capacity (TBIC) is 240 to 450. An increased TBIC means a low level of iron in the blood
Normal female platelet count is 150 000 to 450 000. An increased platelet count may indicate overproduction of blood platelets by the bone marrow. (MCH).
