Q.

Coughing up blood in mucus in the morning

Hi. Dr I'm 77 yrs and diabetic Highblood pressure etc and 6 weeks ago a had a nasal surgery removing a benign inverted papilloma and still recuperating for the last 2 weeks I've been waking up in the morning and going to the badroom an cough up mucus with blood in it. And I'm woried cause my ENT told me it's nothing to worry about and so did my GP. and now again after 5 days i have the same problem with blood in my Mucus. It's not a teaspoon filled or more but small quantity sometime pink,sometime red and this morning again but it was a liilt dark red and thick. Don'r know what to do It's a morning couch and not vomit. I hope you can tell or sugest me something in regard with my problem.
