Q.

Medulloblastomal in a 12 year old

We noticed a strange way of walking in my niece the left leg became weak but she felt no pain. We took her to the doctor she was given a 3 day treatment as he was not sure what was the cause but she became worse she's currently hospitalized and was put on a scan they found a tumor on the spinal cord, I would like to know if the surgery will help in this matter I believe the doctors said after the surgery she may not walk (worst case scenario) but her mom does not want the operation what can be done in this matter please help this is so frustrating as the child never got sick of anything I googled and found Medulloblastomal.
